Like many other Black Forest communities, Triberg also has its own costume, which has been used to be worn when going to church, but is still worn today on certain occasions and celebrations.

Remarkable is the distinctive straw hat in cylinder shape. The black men's costume represents the counterpart to the colorful traditional dress of the women.
